Louis Lindenberg
Global Packaging Sustainability Director
Louis first joined Unilever 1999 from L'Oreal. His initial portfolio was Southern Africa, but quickly moved on to head packaging for Africa, Middle East and Turkey. Louis was also steering team member for the ‘Consumer Goods Forum’ who published the “Global Packaging Protocol” within the packaging industry, and continues to be part of all packaging related initiatives driven by the Consumer Goods Forum.. He is involved in many industry collaborations around the world, and has spoken at many international conferences on packaging, sustainability and design. He has also been a judge and panellist for various packaging awards around the globe. Louis has worked in both developed and emerging markets which has given him valuable experiences across a board spectrum of consumers, customers, infrastructures, governments and NGO's. He works closely in public and private partnerships, collaborating at every level, continually looking for opportunities to drive the packaging sustainability agenda through sourcing, design and end-of-life.
